Photographer Spotlight: Victoria Saperstein

Over the past couple of months, we’ve had the opportunity to witness our little natural light studio in Dallas evolve into a space where creatives can bring their visions to life. When we opened Brightside Studios, we aimed to carve out our place in Dallas’ creative community, and it feels amazing to see this goal gradually being achieved. We’ve observed that branding photographers, in particular, have developed a fondness for our space. The natural light, versatile environment, unique settings, and props make this space perfect for branding photographers in Dallas, as it is ideal for capturing the authentic essence of brands.

One photographer who recently visited our studio is Victoria Saperstein. Victoria is a branding photographer dedicated to helping small business owners, entrepreneurs, and product-based businesses elevate their brand through high-quality, authentic, and creatively-driven photography. We’re continuing our photographer spotlight series by discussing her latest session in our studio.

What was the vision behind this shoot?

One of Victoria’s clients, Marissa, wanted to have a holiday family session, and the studio was just the perfect spot for them.

Victoria says “the goal was to create fun, holiday photos for my client Marissa, Ryan and their dog Sophie.”

What is your favorite type of content to shoot?

My favorite type of content to shoot is brand and fashion photography. I find so much joy in capturing the essence of a commercial or personal brand, whether it's a newly launched business, an entrepreneur who's starting their own, a content creator looking for consistency or a well-established business looking to bring their visual identity to the next level.

Photography not just about taking pictures; it's about storytelling and creating dynamic, personality-driven photography that truly defines my client's personality and values. Each photoshoot is collaborative experience, where I work closely with my clients from the planning process to the photoshoot day, offering creative direction and posing guidance. Brand photography and storytelling is more than a job for me—it's my passion. It's about creating photo magic that not only elevates a brand but also becomes a powerful tool for connection and marketing.

Seeing my clients' reactions when they see their creative vision come to life through their dream photos is the most fulfilling part of what I do.

What are you known for? What makes your style unique?

I'm known for my elevated everyday brand photography with clean, dynamic editing along with my street style fashion photography. In addition, I always meet where my clients are on their entrepreneurial journey. I'm a creative partner rather than just a photographer. The goal is to go beyond capturing moments, actively collaborate with clients and ensuring that each photoshoot becomes a collaborative experience to bring their creative visions to life.

Can you share with us one of the best pieces of advice you’ve received as a creative?

During my 4 years at Marist College, my major was Communications with an emphasis on Creative Advertising along with a minor in photography. I received this piece of advice back in college from one of my photography professors. At the time, I didn't have the most expensive or up to date equipment so there was a lot of comparison. My professor must have noticed this and said something along the lines of "it's not about the expensive equipment, it's all about having a creative eye and you have an eye for photography." This is so important to hear, especially for aspiring photographers. You don't need the super expensive camera equipment to get started.

What did you like most about the studio?

I loved how big and open the space is with the most amazing lighting. In addition, I loved the different set ups from the full kitchen to the office area to the living room area. The Christmas set up was also very clean and modern!
