Our First Studio Event with Women Already Connected

We were thrilled to host Women Already Connected (WAC) for their first quarterly Snap & Social event at Brightside Studios. Founded by the incredible Andrea, WAC is an organization dedicated to bringing together smart, ambitious, and like-minded women who want to make meaningful connections, and pursue personal and professional growth. It was such a privilege to meet so many inspiring women and to provide a space where they could connect, learn, and thrive.

At Brightside Studios, we value community building and fostering personal and professional development. We were honored to host an event that aligns so closely with our values. We believe that creating a supportive and inclusive environment where people can come together, share their experiences, and learn from one another is important for growth and success. We were delighted to see so many amazing women gathered in our space, engaging in thoughtful conversations, and building new connections.

We collaborated with four boutique vendors who brought their one-of-a-kind products and services to the event.

Kandie is the talented face behind Kandie Bakerie. She has a passion for creating unique, whimsical and aromatic 100% soy wax candles. Her love for desserts and all things sweet is evident in her candles, which are inspired by some of the most beloved treats.

At the event, Kandie’s candles brought a sense of playfulness and coziness to the event. Women at the event talked about how the candles were colorful and deliciously-scented, and they were excited to take some candles home. If you would love to follow and support Kandie, check out her Instagram!

Justly Juice is a brand that offers refreshing and nourishing cold-pressed juices made with the freshest, all-natural ingredients. Arlaina is the founder and owner of Justly Juice, and she her knowledge about the benefits of incorporating nutrient-rich juices into our diets and the impact they can have on overall health and wellbeing. Attendees were able to sample the juices and learn about the process behind their creation. Check out Justly Juice on Instagram!

Goodbeads and As If Shop, two unique handmade jewelry shops, stopped by the event as well. Goodbeads, a brand with a mission to protect wildlife, crafts stunning pieces that are not only fashionable but also contribute to a worthy cause. For every item purchased, Goodbeads donates $5.00 to support wildlife conservation initiatives. The brand's commitment to ethical and sustainable practices adds to the appeal of their jewelry.

As If Shop, on the other hand, offers a different take on handmade jewelry, specializing in fun and fine jewelry that reflects the brand’s sophistication and creativity. As If Shop's jewelry is for women who dare to stand out and express their individuality through their fashion choices.

Together, Goodbeads and As If Shop added a diverse range of handmade jewelry to the event that the women at the event adored.

By partnering with these vendors, we were able to offer a diverse range of products and services that added a fun and unique experience to the event. Check out Goodbeads and As If Shop on Instagram!

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for attendees to have professional headshots taken by the talented Dallas branding photographer, Monika Normand. Monika's work is known for its vibrant colors and true-to-life editing style, which perfectly captures the essence and personality of her subjects.

The bright and airy atmosphere of the studio, combined with the variety of backdrops available, provided Monika with the perfect setting to capture a range of stunning headshots for the attendees. The natural light flooding through the windows added a beautiful and soft light to the images, while the diverse backdrops allowed for a variety of looks, from classic and professional to fun and creative. The studio was the perfect setting for the headshots. Monika used her expertise in lighting and posing to make sure that each headshot was beautifully composed and flattering.

We are so grateful for the opportunity Monika provided for attendees to enhance their personal brands with high-quality headshots. You can follow Monika on Instagram here!

Hosting an event that aligns with our values of helping people flourish and grow was a true honor. We believe that providing a space for women to connect, learn, and be inspired is an essential part of building a vibrant and supportive community. We are grateful to have been a part of this incredible event and look forward to future collaborations with WAC and other like-minded organizations.
