Recap of Q1 Mastermind Event at Brightside Studios Dallas
When we had the dream to open up a natural light studio in Dallas, we knew we wanted to create more than just a photography studio space - we wanted to create a community. We pictured a place where local creatives in Dallas could come together to connect, learn, and grow in their respective fields. With the launch of our very first Brightside Mastermind Series event, we’re thrilled to see that vision becoming a reality.
Our main goal for this Mastermind Series is to provide education, inspiration, and networking opportunities for creatives and entrepreneurs in Dallas. We believe that by fostering a supportive environment, creatives can access the tools and guidance they need to build fulfilling, successful, and financially stable careers.
For our first event, we focused on finding balance and joy in both personal life and creative careers. We were honored to host three incredibly remarkable women: Jess Wilson, Christina Yebra, and Ashley Shihab. These women all have thriving careers in their respective fields, and they are dedicated to uplifting others in their communities:

Throughout the evening, we provided our attendees with light bites and drinks to enjoy. Our panel format ensured that the discussion remained focused and engaging, as we had a structured list of important questions to ask the speakers. Each question was designed to address various aspects of the event’s theme, encouraging our panelists to share their unique experiences and perspectives.
As the discussion went on, each speaker provided answers based on their personal journeys. Their diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise give room for a well-rounded exploration of the event’s theme, making sure that everyone in the audience could take away valuable lessons that they can apply to their own creative paths.
The Q&A session that followed the panel discussion was filled with attendees asking questions and looking for advice tailored to their specific situations. Watching the attendees actively participate in the conversation was incredibly inspiring. The energy in the studio was electric, and we were so honored to play a part in bringing this event to life.
For our next event, we’re excited to dive into a topic that’s frequently raised by creatives: how to price yourself as a business owner. Figuring out the right pricing strategy can be a challenging part of running a creative business, and it’s a subject that many creatives have asked us questions about. We’re excited to continue to host intimate events in our studio space. With its inviting atmosphere, open floor plan, and beautiful natural light, our studio is the perfect event space in Dallas for panels, workshops, and networking events.
